Nineteenth Annual QUALITY of LIFE Award

- Named after Past BADC President Constance L. Belfiore -

WANTED: Law Firms, Corporate & General Counsel Offices,
Government and Other Legal Departments
That Treat Their People Well.

Achieving quality of life, particularly in these complicated economic times, is even more vital to the legal profession and the lawyer. Employers who provide quality of life for their lawyers should be recognized and nominated. Relatively new efforts, including how employers handle down-sizing, fee changes, and promotions may, or may not, apply. Lawyers who achieve quality of life are urged to nominate their employers for the Award.

Nominees have found the application process to be enlightening and rewarding. Award winners have been exceptionally pleased with the Award’s effect on morale, recruitment, retention, and client satisfaction.

Whether still adjusting to the changing economy or not, legal employers who factor quality of life values into their decisions should be nominated. The deadline for receipt of applications is Friday, May 6, 2016.

This year’s winner will be honored during the BADC Annual Meeting in June, the BADC e-newsletter, and on the BADC website. Applications are available via our website,, the BADC Office,, or 202-223-6600 Ext 4.
